ABOUT shinrin yoku
An alternative to talking therapies.
Forest Bathing, or Shinrin Yoku, is a mindfulness-based practice using sensory and meditation exercises to connect more deeply with nature. Walks are of a gentle pace and are in open-air natural settings. You will be guided through a series of practices proven to reduce symptoms of anxiety or stress and increase feelings of well-being.
Activities vary from movement-based, to reflective stillness and will be environment led. Time spent in nature is as good a prevention as it is a cure.
